Twelve large scale drawings etched with carbon paper and linked together with a permeating backdrop, I drew the canvas blind, composing lines to the point of exhaustion, resulting in fluid yet unidentifiable flora, sharpened with lines of distress. This installation appears simultaneously desolate and abundant, the black lines negligently drop, giving an abstract expressive dance in a non-logical repetition. A movement through the composition of micro and macro, of innate opposites, creating the sensation of stillness.
