Camille est une artiste plasticienne française née à Paris en 1980. Elle vit et travaille à Amsterdam depuis 2017. Formée au design graphique, puis au cinéma et à l’animation 3D à Arles, elle obtient un master en Fine Art and Design à la Central Saint Martins School of Art à Londres.

Son travail interroge le geste artistique à travers une recherche constante autour de la ligne, pensée comme motif, rythme et espace. Nourrie par la répétition et la musique, sa pratique s’ancre dans l’usage de matériaux bruts — papier carbone, encres, pigments, pastels et bois — qu’elle met en œuvre dans une approche à la fois sensible et rigoureuse, proposant une interprétation du monde environnant.

Cette recherche constitue le socle d’un travail personnel abstrait et expérimental. Artiste indépendante, Camille Rousseau développe également depuis quinze ans des collaborations en tant que directrice artistique.
